VELVET RIDGE

Our most popular tour for over 2 decades and certainly not going to be outmatched. Named after a series of smooth or “velvet” looking Bentonite dunes, the “Velvets” as locals call it, are surrounded by towering 2,000 + foot red rock cliffs in all directions.
This 2 hour excursion starts in Torrey and in less than 5 minutes takes us on part of the great western trail.
Tours must be reserved the day prior and are available 2-3 times daily during prime weather. See seasonal specifics by clicking below.

The adventure quickly begins just a couple minutes outside Torrey as we follow the Great Western Trail. Enjoy navigating through deep canyons, washes and towering red rock cliffs culminating at the Sulphur Spring region. At this point, we are looking down at Cathedral Valley from over 9,500 feet and no other view compares!

Stargazing & S’mores UTV ride to Velvet Ridge! Guests follow the guide to our private fire ring perched atop Pinocchio Point. Enjoy warming your toes and roasting marshmallows as stars begin to shine….maybe even a bit of cowboy poetry!
Jump on with a guide or rent your own machine…this tour has it all and it’s packed with fun. Drive an exciting route to Velvet Ridge as you pass by towering red rock cliffs, deep washes and a few steep climbs.
Tours must be reserved the day prior and are available each evening an hour before sunset during the season. Return an hour after dark following your guide under the stars.

UM PASS & BOOBE HOLE MOUNTAIN

The adventure begins by following your guide from Torrey 30 minutes to the trailhead. Once arriving at the Fishlake National Forest, you will be familiarized with your Polaris RZR 900 Trail machine before departure.
An amazing scenic drive starts the tour as we gain several 1000 feet of elevation where we stop at the UM Pass overlook. A steep downhill section takes us to the meandering high mountain stream named after an old mormon cattle coop called United Moroni. UM Creek boasts healthy populations of Cutthroat Trout and guests will have some time to fly-fish this amazing water.
This 6+ hour looped ride takes us up-and-down many mountain passes and yes, the Boobe Hole. Views from this region are simply remarkable!

AQUARIUS
PLATEAU TOUR

High country summer favorite!
Adventuring atop the Aquarius Plateau gets you out of the heat and into the true wilds of southern Utah. This 4 + hour excursion takes us from Torrey to a maximum elevation of 11,317 feet with a short hike to the top of Bluebell Knoll.
Rural forest service roads make up the first 10 miles, after which we steadily gain altitude through dense pine and aspen trees. The highest timbered plateau in North America and home to large herds of elk, deer and many other species of wildlife. Enjoy countless meadowlands and options for hiking to lookouts peering down on Capitol Reef National Park.
