Our most popular tour for over 2 decades and certainly not going to be outmatched. Named after a series of smooth or “velvet” looking Bentonite dunes, the “Velvets” as locals call it, are surrounded by towering 2,000 + foot red rock cliffs in all directions.
This 2 hour excursion starts in Torrey and in less than 5 minutes takes us on part of the great western trail.
Tours must be reserved the day prior and are available 2-3 times daily during prime weather. See seasonal specifics by clicking below.

Our most challenging ride which also includes part of the Velvet Ridge Tour, will have you on the edge of your seat. This 3 + hour excursion starts in Torrey and quickly takes us to Velvet Ridge and eventually Hells Hole.
Some technical driving is required and we recommend a different tour if you’re not up for it. Incredible scenery with spectacular short hikes off the machines!

AQUARIUS
PLATEAU TOUR

High country summer favorite!
Adventuring atop the Aquarius Plateau get’s you out of the heat and into the true wilds of southern Utah. This 4 + hour excursion takes us from Torrey to a maximum elevation of 11,317 feet with a short hike to the top of Bluebell Knoll.
Rural forest service roads make up the first 10 miles, after which we steadily gain altitude through dense pine and aspen trees. The highest timbered plateau in North America and home to large herds of elk, deer and many other species of wildlife. Enjoy countless meadowlands and options for hiking to lookouts peering down on Capitol Reef National Park.

Truly a world class UTV experience!
Lunch included 5-6 hour tour
The adventure quickly begins just a couple minutes outside Torrey as we follow the Great Western Trail. First, we visit Velvet Ridge and Hells Hole. Enjoy navigating through deep canyons, washes and towering red rock cliffs culminating at the Sulphur Spring summit overlook at 10,400 feet.
This 5 + hour looped ride takes us from Torrey passing above Hells Hole. Enjoy a lakeside lunch siesta at Round Lake before the second leg of the journey descending over 3,500 feet to the valley floor.
